The Africa Cup will be held again this year on the sports field Kennedy street (Kennedy street 61) in Oldenburg. On 23 June 2012, the group matches of the 12 participating teams will take place. On June 30, the two semi-finals and on July 7, the game for the third place and the grand finale. The festival starts at 12.00 and ends at 19.00. The Africa Cup is organized since 2006 by the association Integration eV The association is supported by the community work Bloherfelde / Eversten of the city of Oldenburg. On all three tournament days, a colorful supporting program as well as a children's football tournament with hands-on offers, information stands and artistic performances are planned. Thus, the football tournament is to create an international festival. In addition to the African teams are again teams from the Oldenburg football scene here. The Kennedy district will be represented by a district team. Especially for the children is taken care of: on the final day, a large bouncy castle is provided. So that even the little ones do not miss out on the sport of football, a smaller playing field is set up, on which people can kick off without a hitch.
